WASA and Wadsworth High School Soccer Presents 2022 Grizzly Soccer Camp
July 18-21
WASA will hold a soccer skills camp for all youth players in grades 1st through 8th (2022-23 school year). The main focus will on building individual skills such as: technical development, 1 v 1 moves, passing, shooting, defending, and other soccer related concepts. The first three days of camp will be devoted to technical and tactical work with the final day consisting of a skills competition. The camp will be directed by WASA’s Head of Player Development, William Dye, with assistance from WHS players. WHS coaching staff will be present to assist and administer the camp. This is a great opportunity for the players to get touches before their fall season starts and an opportunity to meet current Grizzly Soccer Players.
• All campers will receive a t-shirt.
• Winners of the skill competition will be introduced at the first varsity home game of the season on Friday, August 12. It is a girls / boys double header at Art Wright Stadium. The girls play Firestone at 5:00 and the boys play Lincoln West at 7:15. The winners will be introduced between games around 7:00 PM.
• The Grizzly Soccer Camp will be held at Art Wright Stadium. Camp Information:
• Cost is $60: Family Discount on 2nd Child or more cost is $45.
• All players need to enter the stadium using the North Entrance and they will need to check in.
• Grades 1st through 4th will meet from 5:15 – 6:30 PM.
• Grades 5th through 8th will meet from 6:45 – 8:00 PM.
• All players need to bring their own soccer ball and water.
• All players need to wear shin guards.
• Monday is RED OUT DAY; all players should wear a red shirt.
• Tuesday is WHITE OUT DAY; all players should wear a white shirt.
• Wednesday is SOCCER JERSEY DAY; all players should wear a soccer jersey.
• Thursday is WADSWORTH DAY; all players should wear any Wadsworth shirt. Please register on the WASA website at www.wadsworthsoccer.com and login.
